Memorial website in the memory of your loved one
Myles Ashton Simon was born in Brooklyn, NY to Frederick and Michelle Leete Simon. At the tender age of 21 months, he was the delightful playmate of his 3-year-old sister, Sydney. Myles brought great joy to all who met him.  His chubby cheeks and infectious giggle were impossible to resist.   Myles is greatly loved and forever lives in that special place in his parents’ hearts. We will remember him always.

A Message to my Son
We walked together, you and I
A Mother and her Son
We had Hopes and Dreams for tomorrow.....
But tomorrow didn't come.

We walked together you and I
We hugged, we laughed we loved.
We shared many times,
And for that I thank the Lord above.

We walked together, you and I
But only for a short time.
For all too soon it ended
Leaving pieces of a broken heart behind

And even though I miss you
More than words could ever say.
I thank God that I got to walk with you
Every precious moment of every day....
A Letter From Myles
Mommy I’m so happy, although you miss me so,

But when I tell you all the fun I’m having I hope you’ll know;

I have no pains, no sorrows, no tummy aches nor fears.

My only sadness comes when I see my mommy’s tears.

There are lots of things to see and do, so many faces to know;

And there is a wonderful man named Jesus who says He loves me so!

He told me how much I’m loved and that I’m missed a lot.

I could only smile and say, what a great family I’ve got.

He said that we would all be together real soon.

So I said great and ran down the streets of gold to see my new room.

Did I tell you about our mansion, and that the sky is always clear?

Did I tell you how I’ll love it when we’re all together here?

I have new friends to play with and the games are really cool.

And I’m almost late; I have to go to Little Angel’s School.

But when you find your missing me don’t let you heart be sad;

Just remember I’m always praying for Sydney, Mom, and Dad.

Love Always,

Who You'd be Today (Song Lyrics by Kenny Chesney)

Sunny days seem to hurt the most
Wear the pain like a heavy coat
I feel you everywhere I go
I see your smile, I see your face
I hear you laughing in the rain
Still can't believe you're gone

It ain't fair you died too young
Like a story that had just begun
The death tore the pages all away
God knows how I miss you
All the pain that I've been through
Just knowing no one could take your place
Sometimes I wonder who you'd be today

Would you see the world?
Would you chase your dreams?
Settle down with a family?
I wonder, what would you name your babies?
Some days the sky's so blue
I feel like I can talk to you
And I know it might sound crazy

Today, Today, Today
Today, Today, Today

Sunny days seem to hurt the most
I wear the pain like a heavy coat
The only thing that gives me hope
Is I know I'll see you again someday

Someday, Someday

Mommy I Wish I Could Stay

Sorry I didn't get to stay.
To laugh and run and play.
To be there by your side.
I'm sorry that I had to die.
God sent me down to be with you,
to make your loving heart anew.
To help you look up and see
Both God and little me.

Mommy, I wish I could stay.
Just like I heard you pray.
But, all the angels did cry
when they told little me goodbye.
God didn't take me cause He's mad.
He didn't send for me to make you sad.
But to give us both a chance to be
a love so precious .. don't you see?
Up here no trouble do I see
and the pretty angels sing to me.
The streets of gold is where I play
you'll come here too, mommy, someday.

Until the day you join me here,
I'll love you mommy, dear.
Each breeze you feel and see,
brings love and a kiss from me.

Dearest Mommy

When you wonder the meaning of life and love know that I am with you
Close your eyes and feel me kissing you in the gentle breeze across your cheek

When you begin to doubt that you shall ever see me again quiet your mind and hear me
I am in the whisper of the heavens speaking of your love.

When you lose your identity when you question who you are and where you are going open your heart and see me
I am the twinkle in the stars smiling down upon you lighting the path for your journey.

When you awaken each morning not remembering your dreams but feeling content and serene know that I was with you filling your night with thoughts of me

When you linger in the remnant pain wholeness seeming so unfamiliar think of me and know that I am with you touching you through the shared tears of a gentle friend easing the pain

As the sunrise illuminates the desert sky
In that breathtaking glory, awaken your spirit think of our time together, all to brief, but ever brilliant

When you were certain of your destiny know that God created that moment in time, just for us

Dearest Mommy, I am with you always.
